What I’m Working On

For the last five years, I’ve been working as a documentation specialist as part of a UX team.

The Project

Our client is a pharmaceutical company offering a medical device and companion app and portal for the mental health market. Their product utilizes a wearable patch and smart chip technology embedded in the tablets to accurately record drug ingestion.

The app tracks medication adherence and allows users to input and track additional data, such as mood, mood contributors, sleep, and activity. Users can share their data with their healthcare team. The companion portal allows healthcare providers to view shared patient data for discussion during appointments.

Work done for this client has been done under a limited NDA. Please see their website for more about the product.

My Role

My primary responsibility has been documenting visual designs, updating storyboards, and creating system guides. With the support of great managers, I have also had the opportunity to work closely with UX teammates and participate in a variety of UX tasks.

These tasks have included:

  • Assisting the team in maintaining app and web designs in Sketch and Figma
  • Transitioning all designs and libraries from Sketch to Figma
  • Completing a comprehensive accessibility audit
  • Desk research for comparative analysis
  • Observing human factors testing for later analysis
  • Heuristic Evaluations
  • Feature Exploration and Design

During this time, I have also completed two different courses of study resulting in UX certifications, one from NN/g and another from General Assembly.

That’s what I’ve been up to lately. Hope we can chat soon.
